Um yes. The basis of all Christianity, is where we get the name from....Jesus Christ.
Yes Christians have,in the past used dates and symbols from other cultures in order to make it easier to change to, in particular catholosism.
What Jesus's main role was to "convert" people into love and following the commandments (which most of out laws are based on...and they are logical too). So what some past generations did was forceful conversion. Today its not like that...

Did Abe Lincoln or Mother Teresa run around converting people? What about Dr MLKing Jr. and Mark Wahlberg. AC Green, Mach 10, Kanye West do you see them running around obsessed? You have your translations of the holidays as some merely accept them as 'Holy Days' in recognition of the greatest feat ever accomplished in human history, that is the conquering of death, hell and the grave! Happy Resurrection Day!

The Great Commission doesn't command us to recruit, but to spread the Good Word of Christ. Once you've heard it...it's all up to you.
As a Christian, I only answer to God for myself, ultimately. I just want to see everyone have a chance to join all believers in eternal life with our Creator.
God was wonderful enough to give us free will and not force us to accept Him and worship Him. Amen.

Christianity is a hodgepodge of customs not beliefs. The belief is pretty original after old testament. Try to talk about something you know ANYTHING about rather than just shooting your mouth off any old way you like.

Yes, it does almost seem like they get extra brownie points for converting unbelievers. Where do they think they can cash these points in...for some prime real estate closer to god in heaven?

Nonsense.
We are not converting. Only God can do it. But He can only work within the free will. So He can only change the willing heart. We are just planting seeds here and running some errands. He is in control. : )

oh and Halloween is not a Christan holiday. and in the bible it says keep the 7th day holy. the Jewish people even keep Sunday holy. oh by the way thats where the Christan church started from a Jewish guy named Jesus.

Not only that, but Christianity is filled with traps to KEEP you converted. Such as the concept of an afterlife.
"If you don't accept Christ, you're going to hell!"

Jesus....Sooner or later every man, woman and child will acknowledge that Jesus is Lord. It's in the Bible, Philippians 2:9-11 " Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the father"
