My grandmother is Methodist and she believes that only christians will go to heaven (I don't know if this is a Methodist belief or if it's just my grandma). I disagree, I'm Catholic and I believe that people of all religions could go to heaven. I also believe that only God knows who will go to heaven, so I don't think that someone can say only this group or only that group will go to heaven. So, what do you think on this subject and what religion are you??

I'm a Christian. According to my religion, those who believe in Jesus and have asked for forgiveness in life will go to heaven when they pass on. I'm also a realist, throughout history, wars have been fought on the basis of religion, one church against another. What most religions practice today, are based on the church that won the fight. I believe that all religions are based on the same idea, that there is one great Creator that we must answer to when our mortal lives are over. Whether he is called, God, Buddha, Allah, every religion has to answer to someone, and all believe in some form of life after death. Who is to say that the Christian God is not all of these? In answering your question, I believe that all who have faith and live a moral life, asking forgiveness from there creator when needed, will go to heaven in the end.

Christian.

If you believe in Him (John 3:16) and live a life of sanctification bearing fruit (Matthew 7:16), only then will you go to heaven.

You, yourself cannot go to heaven believing everyone else would. That would be a identity oxymoron.

You, as a follow of Christ have been command to go out and make disciples (Matthew 28:19). If you truly love Him then you will obey Him (Romans 3:20).

I believe the Bible and I don't like to claim a religion but I totally agree with you. God himself knows that not everyone is going to become a Christian and he must have a plan to save everyone. He doesn't really care what what religion a person claims but he looks at a person's heart. I think eventually he will find a way to get through to every human ever born and save them. Even if they are already dead.

All who believe Jesus is the Son of God and died for our sins. Catholics, Methodist, Baptist, Pentecostals, etc...all who hold that truth as the basis for their faith.

Jesus is the way, the only way to God in Heaven.

In truth? Most "do." As long as the father in heaven sees a person making the efforts to do right in this world, he does not hold "ignorance" as a factor against them. Unlike this "God of Wrath," the TRUE Father in heaven is nothing like that. It is the ones who don't CARE or TRY who are not needed in a world of peace.

Death is inevitable. The thief on the cross knew when his would occur, but we can not predict our own. After his death, the crucified criminal went to live in paradise with Jesus. Some of us will also live eternally in God's presence. But others will experience everlasting torment, forever separated from Him.
If we receive Jesus as our Savior, our penalty for sin is paid. We are adopted into God's family, and Heaven is our eternal home. If we reject Jesus, we remain alienated from the Lord and under condemnation for our sin. We are destined to experience eternal judgment. God won't accept any of man's excuses because there is no acceptable defense for unbelief. (Acts 4:12)

Jesus is the way to heaven.
John 14:6 Jesus said to Him, , "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me."

By believing in/having faith in and following Jesus we have salvation. It cannot be obtained by works or by "being good" or by belonging to any particular church. It is only through a relationship with Christ that we are saved and go to heaven.

I believe that God loved this world so much, that he sacrificed is one and only Son for me and my sins. And, since I believe this, when I die, I am going to go to heaven and live with Him there, forever and ever.

The Bible is very clear about this. What happens to believers after they die is spelled out for us. No gray area is left for us to try and figure it out. Either you believe and go to heaven or you don't believe and you go to hell.

I know that this sounds harsh and offensive to some people, but, that is just the way it is. It is never to late to start believing.

According to Jesus no man has ascended to heaven. ( John 3:13). Also, all the resurrections recorded in the Bible happened here on earth. Not a single one happened in heaven.

Jesus taught us to pray: "thy kingdom come". Or, did he say thy kingdom GO UP?

By the way, why do you want to go to heaven? There is no beer there!
