This week, I have slacked off on taking my daily multivitamin and I have been running out of energy very early in the evening. Early as in a 22 year old being ready for bed at 8:00 p.m. who is usually up to 12 or 1 most nights. I also haven't been sleeping well at night. My work load has been a little heavier during the day, but nothing outside of my physical ability. Is this a possible result from the multivitamin, or what?

multi vitamins do not cause a dependence. There's all sorts of reasons you may feel less energetic than normal. However, taking the vitamins will help you to feel your best. Remember, they're just nutritional supliments.....they're the same as eating a pound of brocolli and a bushel of spinach.....just more conveinient.

Though most people are not aware of this fact, it is possible for dependency upon multivitamins to arise. The effects can include, as you mentioned, lack of energy, lethargy, and more seriously narcolepsy. So, it is suggested that you consult a professional in person and perhaps look into a rehabilitation center.
Best luck to you.

not at all...my guess is that along with not taking the multi you have not been eating as regularly either or consuming enough water
