My teacher said about four but she didn't specify if it was college or high school math.

Well I know medical doctors have to take up through Calc 3 in college, so I would assume it's comparable.

In high school, take four years of math.
In college, you'll have to complete through Calculus 1 or 2, depending on the school.

You will need Precalculus and Calculus 1 for most schools. For the better schools, you will need Calculus 2 as well.

Being well educated in math is important, but it's probably more important to be proficient in things like science, chemistry, and biology.

i think its quite awhile. i think your teacher is right. i will check a site and mail u back if i know! ^^ ok i got it, it says a minimum of 4-6 years!!

you have to complete everything up to and including calculus. How many 'years' that is is up to you.
