The more important question is, Why do you think that? No, I do not believe Jesus was someone who just wanted to be important. If this could be said of Him, than was Ghandi just someone who wanted to be important. Jesus preached a religion for all people, and taught them they were important and gave them strength and hope. Is this someone who just wanted to be important?

I think he (like SO many other people over the course of history) truly believe he was G-d/Messiah. But, imho, he was delusional.

lol ,i agree i believe in jesus as being a normal human being with different views. His story (the bible) is basically like a very big very common chinese whisper.
