got a sony cdx-f5710 connected to the harness plug it in radio played fine, put in a cd, played fine, then as i was pushing the radio back in the dash, and made four beeps, ( beeps everytime u push a button) and turned off. Now i can't get it to work, if i put a cd in it, it would suck it in and eject but won't turn on or play. any help, diagrams

When you were pushing it back in the dash, you pinched the red wire (accessory wire) and blew the radio fuse in your vehicle fuse box. The four beeps are what the Sony does when it shuts off; now it can't detect when you turn your key on because of the blown fuse. Pull the head unit out, repair the wire, and replace the blown fuse.

A Sony head unit will still accept and eject CDs as long as there's power on the yellow wire, but without power on the red wire it won't turn on.

un connect and re connect make sure no wire is exposed what so ever. make sure your ground is connected. the metal on metal is grounding u out.
