Your gonna need the Following Items at a minium
1 The External Tank. It's BIG ORANGE AND SITS on the Ventral side of the shuttle. It's loaded with Liquid Hydrogen and Liquid Oxygen. AKA ROCKT FUEL
2 Liquid Hydrogen and Liquid Oxygen. FUEL. These are both easy to produce in LOW quanties. For Liquid Hydrogen get some Hydrogen then COMPRESS it to the point where it Liquifies. Ditto with the Liquid Oxygen. Your gonna need HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF GALLONS OF EACH.
3 TURBO PUMPS. These are Turbine pumps that shove the Liquid Hydrgen and Liquid Oxygen into the Engine Bells at VERY VERY HIGH RATES.
4 Igniters. Basiclly BIG HONKING Sparklers that put out a source of Ignition for the H and O2 that your Turbo Pumps are Ramming into the Engine Bells.
3 SRB's Solid Rocket Boosters. The 2 GIANT Soild Fuel Boosters that are made by Morton Thiokol. These provide the extra thrust you'll need to get that massive vehicle off the ground.
4 A VAB. Vehicle Assembley Building. you need someplace to put all this together. By the way there is only 3 or 4 places on the planet that you can do this.
5 A Crawler to transport this MULTI-MILLION TON Vehicle to the Launch Pad. NASA has the ONLY 2 on the PLANET that can move the Shuttle in Launch Configuration.
6 A Launch Pad. I don't think you could use your back-yard.
7a CREW for the Shuttle. 7 people is the norm
7b Ground Crew at launch site
7c Support Crew In Launch Control
7d Support Crew at Mission Control
8d Support Crew World Wide to Ensure Commuication.
8e Recovery Crew for when it lands.
Hope you have a WHOLE LOT OF REALLY SMART FRIENDS, some of who should have a Mental Exam for their willingness to go along with you.
8 Clearence from and the cooperation of the FAA, USAF, NORAD, DOT, DOD, FBI, CIA, DIA, USCG, NASA, OSHA, EPA, and JUST ABOUT EVERY OTHER Fedaral State and Local Agency in the USA. Good Luck on that one.
9 Clearence from the UN. You'll have Better luck with the US Agencys then you will them.
10 Informing EVERY NATION ON THE PLANET that has launched a payload into space. Cause no one country owns space.
11 Landing Site. You need a Runway to Land the Shuttle on. Again your Back-yard will NOT WORK>
12 Various and varied Vehicles to Service the shuttle, Transport People etc etc
13 FOOD for all these people
14 Secuity to Ensure that someone does not blow up your BOMB I mean Shuttle on the Pad.
15-10,000,000 Keep thinking you'll keep finding stuff
So as you can see, it's rather Easy when you know what to do and what you need. Good Luck with your Future in Space Travel

As stated prior, I'm just answering for the two points! This question is absurd, as is my answer!

NASA is phasing out the space shuttle and other companies that will support the new sort of ascending module will either have to change with the technology or fold, so more than likely, if you bought a space shuttle, you would basically have to buy NASA and fund every step of the launch sequence, which for one flight would fetch into the billions when you factor pay checks, facilities, at all.

Now, could you tell me where to find a good place to go Dodo bird hunting and a place to buy tack for a unicorn, you could return the favor!

Where can I get a space shuttle for my used starter? I hate to see a good starter go to waste.

space shuttles don't use starters, they use boosters. You must know the weight of the shuttle in order to get the proper size booster.

Find someone expendable and buy a disposable cigarette lighter. Don't buy a BIC, they are too expensive. That 5 for a dollar pack will do. After all, it's going to be like a French Military Rifle, only used once.

See, I can be silly too.
