Nothing in life is to be feared. It is only to be understood.

Believe nothing just because a so-called wise person said it.
Believe nothing just because a belief is generally held.
Believe nothing just because it is said in ancient books.
Believe nothing just because it is said to be of divine origin.
Believe nothing just because someone else believes it.
Believe only what you yourself test and judge to be true

I know plenty of Wiccans who give thanks to their deities for their food. However, I don't know of any that ask their gods for forgiveness. Forgiveness for what? Most of the Wiccans that I know believe in a law of return where if they've done something negative, that negativity will come back to them in equal measure or multiplied by a number of times---regardless if they ask for forgiveness. I don't know any Wiccans who believe that if they ask their deities for forgiveness then they won't have to live with the consequences of their actions, either in this life or the next. Perhaps your definition of "purity" is different than what others think the word means. Most Wiccans accept the "negative" in the world as much as the "positive" and they feel that the positive cannot exist without it's polar opposite (negative). The Wiccan religion includes many beliefs and practices besides the Rede. It is a way of life and their way to develop a closer relationship with their deities. It isn't a part of their lives, it is intertwined with everything they do and how they see the world.

Well, I can't say I know a whole lot about Wicca, but here is my opinion of the main problem with Wicca, looking at it from a Biblical perspective.

The first two commandments of the Ten Commandments given to Moses by God himself state "Do not have an other Gods before me" and "Don't make or worship any idols" (paraphrased, obviously).

Now, from what I understand of Wicca/Withcraft, it is a belief system based on paganism. Wiccans worship multiple gods and even nature & the elements, believing they can gain something (whether it be love, peace, etc.) from objects. This directly conflicts with what God tells us through the Bible and His commandments.

In addition, Wicca is largely based on /rooted in magic and witchcraft. Again, God directly tells us in the Bible that:

"I will destroy your witchcraft and you will no longer cast spells" (Micah 5:12, NIV)

"But cowards who turn away from me, and unbelievers, and the corrupt, and murderers, and the immoral, and those who practice witchcraft, and idol worshippers, and all liars—their doom is in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. This is the second death." (Revelations 21:8, NIV)

Although those quotes definitely sound harsh, they are the Truth. Basically, God is saying that people should not rely on "magic" or idols to give them love and peace. Jesus is the only one who can save, and the only one who is perfect enough to forgive our sins.

Now, when you say "I can't ask God for forgiveness if I believe in Wiccan?" I would say you are wrong about that.
Anybody... anybody at all, even the most dangerous murderers or the most hateful people on Earth, can ask God for forgiveness. Like it or not, he loves everybody with an infinite amount of love... so much that we cannot comprehend it, infact. That is the whole reason he sent Jesus to die on the cross for OUR sins. Now, if you truly ask God for forgiveness, he will totally "wipe the slate clean" as the saying goes. However, by acknowledging that he is the only one who can forgive you pretty much means that you realize Wicca or withcraft or paganism is not the Truth, no matter how "nice" it seems.

Below I put a link to a great article that explains your question really well :)

There are no hard and fast rules to Wicca. There are Christian Wiccans - they just follow Jesus and the Christian God an not a Pagan God and Goddess. You will get crap from both Christians and Wiccans but if that is how you feel don't let naysayers tell you different.

Wicca will still be there when you are grown up.

Being a good person is a universal concept. Get a life, get your education and get out of your parent's house, THEN pick what religion to study.

No one needs another Wishy-washy no-nothing Wiccan. If you're interested in pursuing it as your religion, read a lot of books and MEET OTHER WICCANS first.

Jesus died on Earth. The world of the cross.

Can you imagine living on another world where Jesus has not visited yet?

So what requirements would these other worlds have for salvation?

No matter how confused we become, or where we come from , as long as we do not reject Truth, beauty and goodness we will not be rejected continuation of our journey through time and space. We will learn more as we go.

Peace.........

I happen to believe that both Christianity and Wicca are both valid religious beliefs. While many, if not most, Christians would not approve of practicing Wicca, I happen to know many Wiccans, that believe that Jesus was a profoundly spiritual being and that his teachings are just as valid as anything in Wicca. Follow whatever you believe in regardless of what others may tell you.

It's because only through him things should be done. Power should be drawn from him. U see witches Good or bad draw there power from another source, the devil. Of course he will not show u as the devil, just spirits. Get out of that stuff, seek his face and learn what real power is. The ability to save a persons soul by spreading of the Gospel, through Jesus Christ. Heck If you seek real hard and with faith planted by God u could possibly do great miracles, as a daughter of God.

simply because it is giving praise and obedience to an idol. God asks us NOT to do that.

All sorts of things we "label" ourselves as , when we are younger... in order to find "our identity" are cast aside when we mature. OR HELD too tightly, because we can't admit we were wrong... so we adamently protect OUR
F A L S E identity GRABBED when we did not know any better.

Jesus spoke against the socery of this exact type of thing that you have found yourself in. Witchcraft! Wiccan is basic witchcraft, so I ask you how can you serve God when you are doing what He prohibits?

Read Galations 5:19-21

"The acts of the sinful nature are obvious..........witchcraft......."

Did Jesus ever have a personal beef with Wiccans or witchcraft in general?
I doubt it
It was the people who put those words in his mouth that have something against everyone who disagrees with there teachings
I despise organized religion
