To get toned/firm, it's not about the type of exercise. It's about repitition and tempo. If you want toned calfs, you do a set of 20-30 reps at a moderate tempo. For biceps, I recommend 14 reps at a slow tempo. For triceps, I recommend you do heavy weights at 6-8 reps at fast tempo (makes them bigger/visible). For abs, 16 reps at slow tempo. Try dips, flys, or incline/decline bench press.

Pectoral Muscles...
Lifting dumbbells from below the bench to meet over your chest in a smooth arc, horizontal to your long axis...can't remember what it's called.
Push-Ups.
etc...

Butt and Legs...
Swim...alot of swimming.
Walk.
Run.
Dance...alot of dancing.

Arms...
Curls.
Squeezing those metal springs with handles.

This is assuming you don't want to do things like Tai-Chi or the exercises where you use your own body as the resistance (ie: clasping hand and pulling with one arm while resisting with the other)...again can't remember what it's called.
