Most Christians and Muslims get along fine.
It is just a few fundamentalist Christians and few fundamentalist Muslims that forget that both faiths teach love and forgiveness.

Lordy, man....They are polar opposites !! mohammad got the arab tribes to stop fighting EACH OTHER and start fighting everybody else. They took Jerusalem from the Christians, as well as Constantinople and....the list goes on and on....
And the sunni's and shi ites are blowing each other up daily...because one sect says they are descendents of the moh...and the other says that the rich tribe of the ________ were given heavenly permission to rule them.
And apparently, these two sects hate the third group,,,the kurds...love and forgiveness..give me a break...
muslim means submission: bow 5 times a day in a certain direction..make a pilgrimmage and pay dues...

(tongue in cheek here) Because "they" are wrong and "we" are right.
Islam allows no room in its faith for any other belief system than Islam. Christianity allows no room in its faith for any other belief system than Christianity.
When you say 'fight' do you only literally mean fight in a war with weapons or do you also mean verbally disagree? I've never physically fought anyone, but I would respectfully verbally disagree with anything that did not align with my beliefs as a christian. I believe any "good" Muslim or "good" Christian would do the same because of passion for their beliefs.

i'm a christian but i dont hate muslims....this is because my God - Jehovah forbids me to...He said for me to love one another...so that i would be counted a son of God....any christian hating muslims is not a true christian...and therefore a son of the devil....feel free to email..God Bless

Islam requires it's followers to lie and kill the infidels, wherever they may be found. If the people are unwilling to convert, then they are to be put to death.
As for Christians? True Christians believe the instruction of their leader Jesus, when he told them that those who live by the sword will die by the sword. So, if anyone claims to be a Christian also is willing to fight and die in a war, guess what? They are not a true Christian.

Sure they preach it, but that's only because that's what people want to hear. Take 'Love Thy Neighbor' for example and examine these four translations of Leviticus 19:18:
Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.-First Jewish Publication Society translation (JPS '17) and the King James Version (KJV).
You shall not take vengeance or bear any grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself.-Revised Standard Version (RSV).
You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against your countrymen. Love your fellow as yourself. -TANAKH (JPS '85).
They were talking about their own people. It's bigotry on a grand scale by today's standards. It was preserve your own AGAINST the others.
The only thing these two groups agree about is that Atheists are even worse. "How dare they point out how foolish we are!"
