The Christians refer to those as pagans in a derogatory sense who are idol worshipers. In a way they were part of Hindu way of life with local corruptions due to want of continuous guidance.

The Pagan culture of worshiping many Gods was based on the Indian culture that went to different parts of the world as proved from the archaeological findings in South America, Asia and also Europe. The Jews, The Christians and the Muslims are not referred as pagans. You are correct in your expectation.

Keep in mind, Abraham was the father of three different religions that exist today. Judaism, Christianity and Islam in that order. Pagans would be more on the order people that worshiped Gods of seasons much as American Indian worshiped the four winds, mother earth, father sun etc. Also could be related to being Wichen ( sp). Think of pagan more as mother earth and natural forces with Gods of those forces.

No. Semitic religions are not called Pagans.
Semitic are languages spoken by Semites. Pagans are not religious people. The have no religion either and do not believe in God.

In Christianity, if someone call a person to be Pagan, he is insulted because pagan is considered insulting to Christian people.

Pagans have their own traditions and belief, b ut no problem to us christians. We can not convince them anyway.

The word 'pagan' comes from the Latin 'paganus', meaning a peasant or someone from the countryside rather than the city or town. (What we today would call a 'hick' or 'hillbilly'.)

It has come to mean someone who is polytheistic, believing in many gods/goddesses. Therefore, followers of Semitic religions (Jewish, Christian, Muslim) are monotheistic, and therefore *not* pagans in the current sense of the word.

Of course, you could have found this out for yourself in about 30 seconds flat. Buy yourself a dictionary; no home should be without one.

God only sent messengers to earth to spread the words of harmony. Spartan
