Well pomegranate juice is the newest discovery for helping your immune system. It also has potassium, protects blood lipids from oxidation, prevents prostrate cancer and stops placq build up in your arteries. BUT....8 oz has 150 calories...only .5 fat and .1 g sat fat (which is great) but it has 36 g of sugar.

As long as you aren't diabetic the rest outweigh the sugar intake.

Hope this helps

Do not trust the company that what is inside is real pomegranate juice, whatsoever. All ingredients are based on flavor and tons of sugar and preservations. Besides, even if it's natural, it is fattening. Remember the diet rule for weight loss NO SODA NO JUICE just water and tea or coffee.

Lots of natural sugar, but I think that the juice that is sold is also mixed with huge amounts of sugar, because pomegranate juice is naturally sour; like cranberry. So yes, very fattening

Stay away from a pomegranate cocktail juice which tends to have high fructose corn syrup or added suger. But pomegranets are extremely good for you. Add pomegrate seeds to vanilla yogurt. fabulous!!

there is no "fattening" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it all comes down to calories consumed during the day. if you spend less than consumed - you gain weight.
