I believe in peace. I know though that at this point in time that is impossible to achieve. The only universal language that every person can understand is brute force. A sign of friendship can be percieved as deceptive and questioned as to why this person is extending the proverbial olive branch. But everyone fears being attacked and beaten.

I agree.
But I always remember this lines.

The triumph of the evil...
Is for good man do NOTHING!!!

Something like this it was written.
I myself don't believe in wars and hate.
But sometimes it just have to be done, for the safe future of our own kids.

Wars ALWAYS hap pend if some kind of extremist radical are treating you in your own nation.

I am not againstt all the extermination that is been done in the middle east. Even if I am agains of all violence and wars but it just have to be done.

You make some very sound points. I would proffer that a sign of friendship extended properly by a nation with a history of trust toward other is possible.

The proper extension of friendship that would be preceived as true? Wish I knew that answer to that one.

You have a right mind and we can only wish everyone was like that. Now a days, it looks pretty much impossible to achieve "world peace". Infact, it's not pretty much impossible, it's completly impossible. There will always be racists, there will always be irresponsible dictators and rulers, and there will always be nuclear weapons. Everyone wants the planet for themselves.

Yep...afraid so. Wow...you sound kind of cynical like me. Too bad it is true. There is so much evil in the world. The world would be such a nicer place if folks would just respect one another, don't you think? Best wishes!

Yes and No.

I am a confirmed pacifist...well, kinda.

But you invade my country, and I'm picking up a rifle and going to do my darndedst to put you in a box.

(However, being a realist, shooting you in the leg and making four of your friends carry you off the field will be even better!)

War is the fight fought by others.

Those in charge never do it themselves. It's a pawn's game, nothing more.

And yes, humans are dumb and only respect force. Logic has no place in the mind numbed by poverty and religion.
