If you are just gonna answer saying exercise more or you don't need to go on a diet please don't.I already am active in running, swimming, soccer, plus several push ups, crunches, and other stretches daily in p.e.Plus whatever game we do,which is usually some kind of running game. So,I'm active.BUt as i have learned in health you can't lose weight by just exercising, you have to put two and two together. So,help

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats, take 300-400 calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
5-8servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water a day
5-6 small meals instead of 3 big ones (breakfast is the most important - make sure to get complex carbs like whole wheat bread, oatmeal, fruit etc)
4-6 times a week cardio for 30-50min, light weight training, many reps
no junk food, no sodas, no alcohol, no white flour (cakes, cookies, white bread, pasta etc.), nothing high in sugar (ice cream)

I had the same problem, I asked my freind who works at a health food store and she told me to stay away from pre packeged foods. If you do not know what an ingredient is, don't eat it. Stay away from soda, that is a big no-no. It turns straight into fat, Don't diet, eat well, I finally lost that last finicky 10 pounds. Good Luck. By the way, if you have not started to menstrate or are about to begin for the first time, you will put on extra weight. It is your body's way of preparing for a child.

youre 12, you have yet to grow. relax and let nature work before you try and lose weight because you think youre fat. i weighed about the same going into puberty, but came out lookin fine (until i found beer).

did you ever think that maybe all that weight comes from the muscle you've obtained?
muscle weighs more than fat.
And who cares about weight?? As long as you're fit that's all that matters

Don't let the media fool you. Almost no one really looks like a barbie doll and it may not be all its worth.
