i use it. it doesn't really change anything. generally, i use Clearasil to wash my face and Ivory for the rest of my body. It doesn't have oil in it like Dove, so it's descent.

in short: not good, not bad either.

Ivory soap has been around for as long as I can remember. One of it's features in the days of WW II was that you could place the bar in a tub of water, and instead of it sinking to the bottom, it would float. It is a mild soap, with no perfume or coloring added, therefore, it is used for bathing babies. I don't know if has any special benefit for acne, other than keeping the face clean. If you're concerned about your skin, I would suggest that you consult a dermatologist. There are many excellent preparations for controlling or curing acne, that a doctor can prescribe, or that you can purchase over the counter. But if you want to just try a mild soap, you'll enjoy using Ivory. It has a wonderful "clean" smell -- no flowery perfumes or strong deodorants.

ivory soap has been around forever (almost) was advertised as 99 % 44/100% pure. and it floats!

But face washing has little to do with pimples or Acne. It is caused by teenage hormones. some are affected more, some less, Hope for less but you will grow out of it in a few years.

I used to have bad skin, but sorry to say (something that will do you no good), it cleared up after i began birth control pills.

My skin is sensitive now and Ivory soap really irritates it. If you have sensitive skin, don't use it. Use a milder soap like Dove or Caress.

Good luck!

Maybe try Proactiv or see your dermatologist for more help.
Don't pick at them... I tried not, but because of that, I have very little scarring on my face, it looks good.
The most important thing is to try touching your face as little as possible.Your fingers are covered in oils and a lot of times those oils are what clog our pores and cause skin problems.
See the dermatologist for the best bet!

When I had acne, I used Dial soap or Neutrogena, a clear glycerine soap. Dial can make some people's skin itchy. I also used Clearasil. My doctor back then also prescribed Vitamin A.
