Better to have the 'lightest' meal for dinner for maximum weight loss. By eating the heavier meals early, you'll have more time to burn off calories and carbs.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats, take 300-400 calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
5-8servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water a day
5-6 small meals instead of 3 big ones (breakfast is the most important - make sure to get complex carbs like whole wheat bread, oatmeal, fruit etc)
4-6 times a week cardio for 30-50min, light weight training, many reps
no junk food, no sodas, no alcohol, no white flour (cakes, cookies, white bread, pasta etc.), nothing high in sugar (ice cream)

I remember Slim-Fast being more of a problem for me because I often found myself hungrier later. What I had was a shake for breakfast and lunch as the directions stated, and then you are supposed to have a sensible dinner, consisting of vegetables, lean meat or other protein, and only whole grains for bread.

Well, part of the problem is the carbohydrate content consisting of a lot of sugar, which makes you hungrier. So I found my dinners were not sensible at all, eating whole pizzas and burritos. The way I see it, Slim-Fast is only for people who have controlled their appetite in advance and not use it everyday, otherwise it can only add to a higher weight gain as it did in my situation. As for me, I've had egg substitute for breakfast which does cut on carbs, but not filling so I've reserved it for weekends and am now eating fiber cereals for breakfast on schoodays.
