I took it a few years back when I was having panic attacks, and never felt any substantial effect like a 'buzz' of any kind. It's an anticonvulsant and sedative, so it will just mellow someone out. I can't fathom why anyone would want to take it recreationally.

Klonopin is a stronger, longer-lasting 'cousin' of Valium. It would produce calm, cause drowsiness/sleep, slurred speech, loss of coordination. Effect can last 6-10 hours, but the 'high' will be only from hour 1-4. It takes about 30-45 minutes to start working. It really is not something to play with. At moderate doses, especially if you don't have tolerence, if can really cause problems.
