when that clan was pagan they descended from Odin, and when they became christians, then descended from Jesus...how convenient. And how "Royal" for the french Church Still indebted for their protection at a critical political point? To all accounts, those people weren't more pious or devoted of their so called ancestor, than a catholic gangster mob,so any divine genes don't make them holier or closer in the footsteps of the carpenter;not even closer to the less understanding follower of the fishermen.
How can it be that the holy Grail, becomes more important than its Master? The mere "living blood" more important than the one spelt by Himself?
Unless the "magdalene" ran a sect that gave more worship to her own Self and her offspring(and Jesus?) ,preaching less moral values in line with her former profession and her merowingian sons of thugs. No wonder she had to move to the future France to run her "religious" business.

Do you mean "Merovingians"?
Did you just read "Holy Blood, Holy Grail"? or just watched the DaVinci code?
i've heard the idea of the Sang Rael, the Holy bloodline before, and there are some interesting points to it, but it still sounds more like the propaganda of the Monarchy, ruling by Divine Right, than actual historical fact...

interesting question, notwithstanding the answer is twofold. the first is basic: that's a remember socialization. Socialization is a procedure anybody is going trough and extremely if truth be told it really is studying what's solid and undesirable contained in the way of life the toddler grows up in (besides as each and everything else that makes a fashion of life). So the human beings who trust in Scripture and Doctrines are socialized into believing that there is an afterlife that punishes those who've dedicated 'crimes' adversarial to the way of life. as a way to maintain the way of life there's a fail-secure, accordingly Jesus, that the gang of believers will be pardoned each and everything which could no longer too undesirable. it really is the incentive, the article which could keep them could both be a holy tree, or a saintly inspired laptop. The blood of Jesus is in our days and our global an anachronism from a miles off previous. the priority is that it really is common. Believers get used to the concept. human beings have consciously stopped searching on the blood because the fruit of torture and commenced searching at it a the article of salvation.

Josh Bernstein on the History Channel was able to obtain a bone from one of the "supposed descendants" of Jesus and Mary Magdaglene. The results showed no Middle Eastern origin, only European.
The DaVinci Code was not a book of history but ficition. The Dead Sea Scrolls have nothing in them about Jesus, Mary Magdelene or Christianity.
Strange thing Dan Brown felt he found implications in the Gnostic Gospels. The Gnostics believed there was a God of Good who created the Spirit World and a God of Evil that created the material world which includes sex and procreation. They reject the Old Testament that said God found what he created was good. It is funny that these people would have implied Jesus was married and had children. They would have thought that was evil.

Listen, there's no evidence whatsoever as to what "profession" Mary Magdalene may or may not have been involved in. You're just repeating the same sort of gnostic rumor here that you seem to be speaking against. There is no real evidence for believing that Magdalene ever went to France or had anything to do with the Merovingians in any way. This whole business was cooked up as a hoax in "Holy Blood, Holy Grail," and it continues to circulate among the credulous. Funny how anti-Christians always seem to have to resort to hoaxes such as "Holy Blood, Holy Grail" and "Black Elk Speaks" to put forward their "alternate" points of view.

The Merovingians were a nasty lot: a semi-Romanised tribe of barbarians who got converted to orthodox Christianity and promptly set about destroying the Visigoths and Burgundians. Trust me, if you're going to claim the blood of Jesus goes through any early-medieval dynasty, I'd steer clear of those blood-thirsty semi-pagan incompetent kings.

That is a Satanic LIE !!!
It also was a device used to make people believe that other people were of the "ruling" class and better than others because they were "blue bloods". They had "royal" blood flowing thru their veins. BULL
