find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats, take 300-400 calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.

Stay away from processed foods, eat all natural, organic foods, drink water and stay away from caffeinated drinks. Also, I find that if you stay away from any kind of sugar it will help with your mental state. You will be less irritable, less tired, less depressed and have a clear head. If you choose to eat sugar, use the pure cane sugar. Read your labels and make sure you can read what is in your products. If you can't read it, how can it be good for you? Make your plate colorful (meaning lots of fruits and veggies and protein). Eat all food groups. Eat the same amount of each food group that will trigger your metabolism. Also I find that if I eat a bite of protein then a bite of fruit, then a bite of veggie, then a bite of starch and keep going in the route, everything works together. My metabolism has increased because of this. Also, walk, run, swim, stay active. You will find this as a lifestyle change, not a diet (take off the T and what do you have?) There are many books on the subject as well as countless websites. Hope this helps!

I started Th Sonoma Diet last january. I went from 200 down to 166 in 6 months. It is very healthy. It consists of meats, fruits, veggies and whole grains. Basically no sugar, white rice, white four and white potatoes. Everything els is allowed. It even allows wine 1 time per day!
You can buy the book at Walmart or amazon.com. For more info, check out www.sonomadiet.com or join the Unoffical Sonoma diet group at http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/sonomadietgroup/

I followed a cleansing program that I went from a size 12-14 to a size 2-4 in women's clothing. My husband did this program with me and went from a 36 waist to a 30 waist. We also gained muscle and lost fat so we both look and feel the best we've ever felt! I would highly recommend this program the 30 day cleanse is the one we did.

1. Eat healthy (veggies, fruits, whole wheat, salad, lean meat, nuts, yogurts, etc)
2. Eat smaller portions!
3. Exercise atleast 4-5X a week for 45 minutes each time
That's all you need to do, sounds easy, but IT ISN'T!
