Take your dog to the vet as soon as you can. It could be epileptic seizures, but I'm not sure if a dog develops it that late in age. With the recent recalls going on, I'd get to a vet ASAP, and save all your dog food containers, etc.

Dog balls...the pup's self esteem? Ha! The damn things are plastic and the animal gets no benefit from having them in his scrotum. The vet sold you a bill of goods so he could profit from your ignorance. And if it was your idea to have them implanted he should have tried to dissuade you. Dogs (especially pups) have no inkling of what happened in the vet's office except he fell asleep and has some discomfort down by his penis. But he does feel less aggressive and now the mutt across the street doesn't seem to be so much of a threat to him. Go to him and have the dog treated for the inflammation and swelling, if you still trust him. Good luck J

Our Lhasa Apso lasted 16 years and had similar spells from time to time. I would ask the vet to see if food allergies may be causing this.

Seizures can be serious, I would go to the vet.. But keep track of his seizures, what he was doing at the time, what he ate, what he was doing before hand, how long they last etc.. That way you have information for the vet if he asks.

Some dogs are simply epileptic. At any rate, 2 seizures means that it's serious enough that you need to take it to the vet for further investigation, and to get meds to control it if appropriate.

Sounds like a seizure. He needs to go to the vet to get it checked out now, something could be seriously wrong with him.

Take him to a vet. Beware that most pets are over-vaccinated. If your pet has hat shots recently, it could be a reaction. I had a Shih Tzu puppy go limp in my hands from a multi-component vaccination. Turns out the dangerous component was to prevent lepto. Good luck with your baby.

Could be the food, check the recall list. Could be epilepsy ( I had a St Bernard with that) or possibly a brain tumor (my golden has that) But get to a vet ASAP.

what is more serious than a seizure? would you wait for more than 2 seizures before seeing your doctor. Bring him to the vet, if it is epilepsy, seizures may be controled by drugs.
