His opinion of things does matter. Children see him and are influenced by him.

I pray for David Furnish to desert the fellow and marry a woman that way Elton will come to a place of soul searching and find salvation through religion.

Elton John is just a little to far to the weird side to listen to much of what he says. What amuses me about him and many other actors and singers is that they can't keep their personal lives to themselves. I do not care that he is gay, but that doesn't make him anything special either.

Him and Rosie should get together and start a new religion or maybe a non-religion. Doesn't make sense, but then neither do they.

And, of course, he wants to get rid of religion because religion tells him he is wrong. Just like Rosie O'Donnell beating up on Christianity, any moron can see why she does that. But believe just one truth from me, if Christianity accepted gays, Elton John and Rosie would be right there praising Christianity.

The only reason elton john wants to get rid of all religions is cause he has been convicted by God in his heart and he knows he needs to turn away from his sinful lifestyle, repent and accept Jesus. Musically, the guy is a nut.

I must say I'm not not too surprised at his recent comments. I think the lyrics in his songs are banal and insipid to the point of being painful.
The melody is nice, but really what has he ever said that was worth hearing? Reminds me of sugar sweetened sawdust.

That floating fairy is going where he will.
The comment about the born again killing John Lennon? By his actions the person who murdered John Lennon was definately not a Christian.

I think Elton John has brought great entertainment to the world but I will not allow him to make decisions and think for me.

Too bad. I used to like Elton John. God gave him a great talent and I wished he would put it to His glory.

He wasn't completely serious, since he knows that banning reliigion would just make it more popular. But he's spent his life being persecuted BY the religious, so you can't blame him. He wants people to realize that religion is no use.

His political views mean little.
His music is good.
Maybe senility is creeping in on him.
