Yeah there are ten commandments, but that's not everything. That's just the bare minimum, that's level one. The Bible has about a million orders from God that aren't commandments. The commandments forbid other things too; they're like the general outline for just about every subject.
By the way, no Christian should claim atheists don't have morals unless they actually know.
And vice versa, Markyyy.

First off I know that you are entitled to your opinion, but the ten commandments are not silly.
Because you are an atheist there may be no easy way to explain this and make you understand. In fact I probably couldn't make you understand even in a hard way. You put this question up so I hope you are willing to be open-minded to my answer.
Morals are defined as "pertaining to the distinction between right and wrong." So even though you may not follow the ten commandments in a sense I suppose you do have some morals, atleast in man's eyes, if you do what is right (our laws).
The ten commandments are laws for the saved from God. Just as in the US if we break a law we are punished, it is the same way with God. The bible says "Whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap." Christians are to follow the ten commandments along with all of the other commandments in the Bible because that is what God believes is right and wrong. A person that follows God's commandments may not be seen as moral in the world's eyes, but they are moral in God's. That is what makes us (those professing Christians that actually do follow His commandments) moral.

I´m afraid the problem is a lot more profound than just counting the rules. In my particular case I´ve been victimize by a certain deshonest christians, but only taking the right steps we will be able to reach a level where justice can prevail. It´s quite sad that there isn´t a clear way of handling these particular abuses, for instance, the average people don´t know what to do in order to get help. In my case I´ll appreciate any support.

It's not fair to say all Christians lack morals, but there are a lot of them who do. I think they truly believe that by being pushy, ignorant, and rude they're pleasing Jesus. I don't think they really care about what they do here on Earth as long they think they're making God happy since they believe they have an afterlife to look forward to. As an atheist I know that I have one life. One life to get everything right, treat people with respect, be a good person, etc. Christians believe they have a better life after this one. To be honest, if I truly believed there was something after this maybe I'd feel ok about being an asshole too.

I believe that we all have God's moral law written on hearts' of everyone, even if we do not believe in God or give any credit to God of the Bible. We all know what is right and what is wrong. It is just our free will make things interesting.
To be moral is not about 10 commandments. These laws are given to us to protect us. We also need to keep the laws of men. We Christians are not necessarily more moral than non-believers, it is just we accept God's standard. And without God's standards we are left with human opinions about the moral law...about what is right and what is wrong.
Our salvation is not about how well we keep the law.It is more about that the Moral Law Maker is our Savior and what Jesus did for us...we are not saved for our own performance. His laws, His word, and His gift of salvation is the same for everyone. Christians accept His Word and laws and salvation. : )

Why do Christians hardly have morals?
Those telling you that you dont have morals because you`re not a christian, are not likely one themselves, because calling oneself a christian, or following the ten commandments is not what makes one moral (if by moral you imply good) or christian. Following Christ, and obeying His law of love, is what makes one a christian.
Romans 13:8 Do not owe anyone anything-except to love one another. For the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.
For the commandments, "You must not commit adultery; you must not murder; you must not steal; you must not covet," and every other commandment are summed up in this statement: "You must love your neighbor as yourself."
Love never does anything that is harmful to its neighbor. Therefore, love is the fulfillment of the law.
You can keep 100,000 laws, but you cannot keep the only important one if you do not know God, for God is love.

You follow 100,000 rules? You must be miserable... I can't even claim that I follow all of the commandments. Lust, covetness, glutony... those all bite me in the rear. And my wife has a list of rules for me too, something about the toilet seat and where my clothes go when I take them off... and I feel like I'm really doing something if I remember those.
100,000 rules... and your an athiest... you must be a super athiest, assembled by the govt. from excess athiest parts.
Anyway, thanks for pointing out that we christians have no morals. We're just as human as everyone else you know, we try to do right... and I usually go to church on Sunday to have someone remind me of all my faults and shortcomings, but heck I get that here everday now from people like yourself.

I agree with the point above that following rules doesn't necessarily make you moral. Being a moral agent means taking decisions for oneself every day to act in a morally responsible way towards other people.

Think of it....
Does the Constitution make any provision against thievery? Murder? Adultery?
I'd rather follow ten laws that help me be a better person than 100,000 amoral laws.
