Busch has said it would pull out and would not return for any amount of money. NASCAR has nothing to do with this.

I don't think the'll sponser their own series they all ready do by being the exclusive brodcaster of the Busch series. But who knows it may happen.

I think that Walmart would be an awesome company. It would be nice to get authentic Nascar goods for a better price. No cell phone companies are going to do it. Sprint/ Nextel is losing 100,000 customers a month (over an above what it adds). Nascar would not allow another cell company to directly compete with the Cup series sponser.
I would imagine that is Nascar wants to grow the Busch Series than it going to have to go with a global company and Walmart is a solid choice.
AB is losing a ton of money because domestic beers sales are in the can. They have spent millions buying Rolling Rock, Goose Island, and all the InBev Brands (becks, bass, stella artois, etc etc). They are hurting and I think that Jr. may have issues with his sponsership soon. You just never know.

Good question. I am particularly curious because I live near St Louis and I think the only reason Gateway has kept a Busch race the last few years is because A-B is just across the river. Like the others, I have heard Wal-mart and Subway. Not sure why Wal-mart would want to since they don't need to advertise, but then neither does A-B. If Wallyworld promotes NASCAR more, it could be good for the series.

Walmart Executives have been seen going in and out of the Nascar offices in Concord.
They are most likely the new Busch Series sponsor.
Craftsman Truck Series
Nascar Walmart Series
Nascar Nextel Cup Series
Wow, looks funny, don't it?

There has been a LOT of speculation. I've heard so many companies and organizations. I do know that Wal-Mart has been mentioned. And, pathetically, Wal-Mart usually gets what Wal-Mart wants. I hope not. Really, I think NASCAR needs to come off of it's high horse and quit strong arming for more money and leave the Busch series alone.

The front runners are supposedly WalMart, Subway and Samsung. I don't care who it is as long as it is NOT WalMart. I actually think Samsung would be best for the sport, since it ties in with NEXTEL. A lot of cross-marketing potential. Money=growth, and NASCAR insists that it needs to get bigger.

The frontrunner is allegedly Sprint, but the multi-national pockets of Wal-Mart may win out. It would make sense for NASCAR to try and bring in a sponsor not already in its racing.
