Without fail EVERY year and will EVERY year while I am on earth. That is what Easter IS. Jesus IS the reason for Easter. But if you google Easter, you will find some interesting RELATED factoids about hiding and coloring eggs...even the Easter bunny story connects to Him.
It's always Better and better knowing Christ.

I won't be attending church, but I did volunteer at the Habitat for Humanity's Easter Egg hunt for kids that either live in or are waiting for a foster home. I had a great time. Somedays, I really miss being a kid ...
As for the other part of your question, I would say that I'm much better off this year then I was both last year and in 1998. I'm well on my way to get my teaching degree and buying my own home, so I'm great!

We've already decorated our eggs, we will go to church in the morning, have a fried chicken lunch with friends and enjoy our children hunting eggs in the afternoon (although with it raining and sort of cold, they'll be hunting them inside!).
We are better off than last year by leaps and bounds, and honestly, there is no comparison to my life from 1998 to now. In 1998, we were both working on careers, we'd bought our first house, two new cars and nights out on the town with friends every weekend. Now, it's 2 kids, one car, rent house, and poor as the dickens ... but immeasurably happier :)

I will attend Easter services at my church and worship my risen Lord Christ. I am better off than I was last Easter in that I am farther along the road of mourning my husband's death, farther along the path of healing physically and emotionally and growing spiritually. I don't specifically remember Easter of 1998, but I know that I am in a better place in my life right now than ever before. I give the glory to the grace of God. Love & peace

I will attend sunday school and worship service as usual. We also have an outdoor sunrise service, but it's suppose to be 25 degrees in the morning and I'm thinking about skipping this one. I'm trying my hardest to think about the Easter of l998 and I was more faithful and more active in church and I dragged my three children to every service I could possibly take them to. Now, two of them are grown, so everyone goes to their own church and does their own thing. Miss those days.

I'm a lot lot lot better off, and better than I was in 1998. Why are you asking about 1998? I don't do the egg thing but attend services.

I honor Jesus at home, in my personal church.
This year my family didn't get to color eggs, and hopefully we won't be have a Easter egg hunt.

My family and I do all three now that we have children. We always attend church but now have the extra fun of dying and hiding eggs. I do not attribute the egg tradition to Jesus at all, it's just something our culture does that I want my children to feel a part of.

We're decorating eggs tonight, and will spend the day at Church tomorrow. As for 1998? Even though I'm unemployed, I'm better off. As for as last year? I was employed last year, but I'd *still* say I'm better off *this* year, than ever. Mainly because my faith is deeper, and I yearn for The Holy Spirit.

I am worse at hiding my eggs, it is always found so easily. What about 1998? was there anything significant to remember? Your question does anyone....do you know how many Christians are there in the world? surely more than 1,000,000 have done that.
