I've heard that when a fallopian tube bursts, the bleeding can be fatal. But why is there so much blood coming from the tube?

there is considerable pain and bleeding because the tube has ruptured, causing internal bleeding, shock and death if not operated on immediately

If the tube burst the reason why there is bleeding is because the pregnancy which is sustained by blood and tissue is causing the bleeding. There is pain and irritablity in the abdomen from the ectopic pregnancy.
