Why is it bad to drink beer in Gods eyes, and it is not bad to drink wine? Whoever told you that made it up, because its not written anywheres in the Bible. When ever someone tells you something is "bad in Gods eyes" tell them to give you chapter and verse where GOD said so please. :)
BTW, wine in the Bible, is NOT grape juice. Need a little proof go to 1Ti 3:8 or 1Ti 3:8, where it says not to drink "much" wine.
Now common sense should tell a person, the speaker was not warning against drinking to much juice. ;)

I am sure God don't mine, but there's something you should know. When Christ spoke of wine, or the fruit of the wine. He was not speaking of the wine we know now. In those days water was not good for drinking everywhere. So, they drank fruit wine with no alcohol in it. This may be the reason why some churches uses grape juice.
The Catholic church always uses wine unless the priest is known to be an alcoholic and sought help. Some priest now use grape juice as well. God doesn't mine if you drink water.
It's the relationship between you and Jesus Christ that's important. I hope I help.
God Bless

In the book of Isa.we read this: Isa. 65:8 Thus saith the LORD, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and [one] saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing [is] in it: so will I do for my servants' sakes, that I may not destroy them all.
Did you notice it says "NEW WINE" well new wine like what Jesus made at the wedding is called [in the cluster it said] grape juice not something that was harm full, the body what effects it effects the relationship with God and the second member of The Godhead DID NOT for any reason tell anyone to harm the body He was going to die for in any way, plus the bad wine, the fermentation represented sin and in the upper room with His deciples it was represented His own blood, HE DID NOT use anything except grape juice, learn more free bible lessons www.itiswritten.com God bless

Because wine is made from grapes which was a staple of the mid east economy in Biblical days. He favored that region and not the beer barons of other regions.
lol
I think you are being disloyal to Jesus when you support the beer barons of modern day. Wine is biblical. It does not mention beer in the Bible.

What is with this sin thing?
Did pastor tell you it was sin?
To drink a couple of beers or two glasses of wine is not a sin.
To get smashed is a sin.
If Jesus drank alcoholic beverages--(wine)--He being God did not sin, did he?
This no drinking alcohol is a false religious teaching.
No getting smashed, however.

Drinking wine was okay because it wasn't the type that makes you out of control and Jesus and his followers didn't overdo it. Today, many people drink Too much and get drunk and that's just bad. God doesn't want us to mess up our bodies and many accidents occur from drunk driving, etc. It's also bad cause you can become addicted and ruin your life.

To the best of my knowledge, it is not bad to drink wine or beer. There are admonitions concerning getting drunk.

SERIOUSLY... GOD DOES SAY THAT YOU CAN DRINK WINE... BUT NOT TO GET DRUNK , YOU CAN ONLY DRINK IT MODERATLY DON'T MAKE IT A HABIT... THE REASON THAT I BELIEVE WE ARE NOT ALOUD TO DRINK BEER BECAUSE IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT BEER IS MORE ACHOHOLIC THAN WINE, SO IT MAKES YOU IN LESS CONTROL OF YOU BODY AND YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR TEMPLE(BODY). SO GOD BLESS AND I DO HOPE THAT THIS HELPS! GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS!!!!!!!!!!

Anything over done is a sin. Col. 2:16 "....don't let anyone condemn you in what you eat or drink....." Y don't need to ask anyone's approval what you do, because everything you do should bring glory to God, if not, don't do it. The Holy Spirit should be your guide not man.
