Unfortunately Americans on average are over weight. A product of a wealthy, technological and educated free society.
Would I rather the US be comprised on average of skinny, malnourished, uneducated peasants ruled by a few well fed, pampered ultra-minority society run by a virtual dictatorship? Not a chance. Hey....that sounds pretty much like China. WOW...what are the odds?
By the way...the US in not about to collapse nor be taken over by China. Want to talk collapse....what do you think would happen to your buddy China if the US decided to cut off all gain and food sales and foreign aid to them. How many millions would starve because of China's historic incompetence in food production, distribution and storage? What...100 million or more?

The rest of the world is right behind. About a year ago there was a story on NPR about Iran and how their population is generally becoming overweight and suffering more heart disease because of eating too much.

Americans won't let any country "take us over". It is OK for other countries to prosper, and if China does better, that's fine! Somebody has to make the toys for our happy meals or they would be no fun at all!
