You're a sweet heart Yvonne, but as you can see by the responses that love is not always reciprocated.
One of these days soon God the Father is going to separate the wheat from the chaff.
May you be found in Him, who loved you and bought you with His own blood.
Peace.

Where did you get the idea that it "doesnt matter what you believe"? Certainly not from Jesus. Its true that He does love everyone, but its also true that He said, "Wide is the gate that leads to destruction, and Narrow is the way that leads to Life". He said, "I am the WAY...". NOT any other way. The idea that all you have to do is be "sincere" and it doesnt matter if what you believe or if it has any relation to TRUTH is a lie from the pit of hell. When it came to the salvation of people, Jesus was the most "narrow" minded Person who ever lived. In effect He says, "Its my WAY or the highway". Now that is not "politically correct" in our world, but thats the way He said it has to be. You either accept the REAL Jesus or just follow a "Jesus" that you've invented in your own mind. After all, if being "sincere" is all you need, and it doesnt matter WHAT you believe, then He died for NOTHING. I know that this is going to bring out the "thumbs down" in droves, but so be it. SOMEBODY needs to tell you the truth.....theBerean

Yvonne I can still relate to you feeling the pain and hurt for Jesus regarding the lost souls...which is why you want everyone to get along...but the truth is the Bible has predicted, as another Christian has pointed out, that people will hate us, make fun of us and torture us. All they are doing is fulfilling the prophecy in the bible and making us believe more. I have come to accept that we will suffer for Christ, but no where near how Christ suffered for us. All we can do is pray that the lost souls find their way home.
God Bless!

Jesus is a fictional character who exists only in the minds of people who believe in him.

I could ignore the fact that millions of people believe in this fictional character, but unfortunately, they like to tell other people how to live and what to do.

I also feel sad that millions of people spend their entire lives believing this life is just the prelude to something better, instead of realizing this life IS IT. That's all there is; there ain't no more.

How sad to waste your one chance to LIVE believing in fairy tales and praying to a made-up god.

It is very nice the thought.

Where does it say He loves everyone?

Does it really say that?

Why do people fly into His face in defiance?
Why do people mock Him?
Why do people blaspheme Him?
Why do people refuse to use His name in reverence?
Why do they practice tradition rather than the Word of God as written.
Why do they refuse to read the Bible?

Does rebellion sound like the word that would describe what is going on?

I don't know. Why DON'T I get it?

I searched. I studied. I thought about it. I sincerely tried. And I came to the honest conclusion that Christianity, although there are some good parts in it, is filled with contradictions, too many things that don't make sense, and too many things that can't possibly be true. I've never felt the "love of God" or "the spirit of Christ entering my heart". I wanted to feel it. I asked to feel it. I waited to feel it. And in the end, I didn't feel it.

What more can I do?

Mat 10: 22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

You think he was joking or something?

May the Lord richly bless you sis.

Yeah, he loves everyone so much that if we don't bow down and worship him he'll burn us in an eternal BBQ pit...some love he's got going on there.

I pray, just not to your deity. I pray to my Gods and Goddesses. I will stick with my Deities and you can stick with yours, okay?

If the Christian god and Jesus loves everybody so much then why does he cast us all to hell who don't believe in him and worship him? Wow that's oh so loving. I'm so deeply touched.
