I think it would be more special if you wait. It really is what signifies marriage!

I had my wedding ring for a long time before we performed the ceremony, but I only wore it to admire it.

It is your life and you may certainly do as you wish, I would just wait. Make it be something special for your wedding day. Wearing it before is misleading and may cause confusion when you invite people to your wedding.

You should wait until the rings have been blessed at your ceremony to put them on. This is the tradition. I guess that ifyou can't wait then go ahead, I have never heard of such, so don't know what the difference is other than the rings being blessed.

Why would you want to do that?Would it not be more special if you waited till the day of your wedding when it was put on your finger in church before God and your family and friends?
There's nothing saying you shouldn't......I just wouldn't do that and spoil my special day.
Happy Wedding.

If you both want to then go ahead.

Personally, I will wait until my wedding day to wear it.

Until then I'll wear my engagement ring.

You do not wear them before you get married. They are WEDDING rings.

You should wait til the memorable event... God will bless your marriage and the ceremony will be complete with the rings..

you shouldn't because it is bad luck and plus the custom is that they get blessed by a priest first before they are placed on the finger. it is also that you are getting married in the eyes of god in a church so they need to be blessed by a priest.
