Flavors gone.......... Quit watering down good wine, and break down and buy a bottle

Try watering down your gas to make it go further.

Wine vinegar is ok but when you water it down it does lose flavor. Try adding some balsamic to your dressing (not to the bottle of wine vinegar) to enhance your salad.

You said "it has not lost a bit of its stregnth in its taste." So what "flavor" are you trying to regain?

Vinegar in wine would be nasty any day.
