Generic HEB doritos taste like the real thing.Could they be sued for copying recipe or if they perfected it?

I recently just had the HEB hill country fare nacho cheese chips and they taste almost exactly like doritos.Ya I know people would save a few cents buying the generic type if its the same.So could HEB be sued for copying the dortios recipe or just perfecting their own?Thanks

nope, they can't be sued! What's illegal is making them and calling them "Doritos" which is a trademarked name.

Any chip can be taked to a food science lab and the ingredients figured out and a recipe created.
