first off pitbulls DO NOT have a 'lock jaw'.
MYTH: American Pit Bull Terriers lock their jaws.
Dr. Brisbin: "The few studies which have been conducted of the structure of the skulls, mandibles and teeth of pit bulls show that, in proportion to their size, their jaw structure and thus its inferred functional morphology, is no different than that of any breed of dog.
There is absolutely no evidence for the existence of any kind of "locking mechanism" unique to the structure of the jaw and/or teeth of the American Pit Bull Terrier.
Basically every big dog has the ability to seriously hurt someone.

Everyone who said that pitbulls can lock their jaws, are stupid. I am a pitbull owner/lover and i know alot about them and they CAN NOT lock their jaws. Its a myth. Lock Jaw, is a diease and if pitbulls had it, they would be dead. People need to educate themselves.
As far as whose bite is more powerful, i think their the same. They are both very powerful dogs and very loyal to their owners. If u mess with their owners, and they see it, you'll have to answer to them.

A dog should be trained on how to eat, walk with you, not to bark, potty training and sleep on its place etc. You can teach anything to your puppy, dogs get trained easily with some good instructions. If you want some good training tips visit https://tr.im/qadDG
If properly trained, they should also understand whistle and gesture equivalents for all the relevant commands, e.g. short whistle or finger raised sit, long whistle or flat hand lay down, and so on.
It's important that they also get gestures and whistles as voice may not be sufficient over long distances and under certain circumstances.

NO! A Rott may outweigh and sometimes outsize a Pit but a Pitbull's bite is worse! Any vet will tell you that a Pit's jaw locks when it bites down so it is harder to break their jaws apart to release a bite. In fact I was told that a person should actually push forward instead of pulling when they are being bit by a Pit or a Chow! If you push forward it helps release the bite, pulling just tears your skin, etc. Pitbulls,Chow and Sharpeis are three of the dogs that I was told jaws lock when biting.

I used to have a rottweiler and a pitbull (both males) and they got in a fight once and it was very difficult to separate them but the only one that had minor injuries was the rottweiler... pitbull was intact
