I have a passion with designs, fashion, interior, and graphic. Yet, I don't have any money so I should go for something like nursing. But, I am not passionate about it. Though I am creative yet studious and young so I afford the years to do both. I don't know if I should major into Nursing or both. So during college, I don't know if I should get an internship in design or nursing. both are competitive, but I'm afraid of making a bad decision. I need someone to advise me on a plan I can take to become sucessful. If someone can give me a good picture of what I can possibly do and elaborate on it, that'll be great.

There is good work, and in Europe the schools set up
students to work in the field they are talented to do. This
starting with a pay, and responsibility can be done by the
individual. The window of hiring is a tight limit, that is due
to the realism of investments that are needed to move ahead. If you can get the idea of exactly what jobs you could
enjoy doing, then get arranged within the closer training to
move ahead as soon as you are qualified. Education is not
a simple area, it is full time to keep up with the very social
center of your community. Architects, decorators, craftemen, skilled remodelers all need solid tool performance. The freedom of shopping, art, independent
skills makes home designing a busy place. I have had to
hire 30 people just in the area of home gyms, the latest
update rave going on. So the time is good for design, and
you can read, study, learn from masterfuls of style and old
tradition and keep up for the improvements. Train depots,
some loggers, stone cutters handle the local major budgets
so get interested in what is safe, educational, principle and
valid for your region. Write people that you meet for news,
and to ask questions.

A wise person once told me "If you do what you love for a living, you will never work a day in your life." That's sage advice.

Dont' go into nursing if you're not passionate about it! You will dread every day of work.

Instead, major in interior design, architecture, or fashion design & merchandising. If you wont' mind living in a big city, graphic design is an option but graphic designers are a dime a dozen.

You'll be good at what you are passionate about; it will all fall into place. Dont' let your friends or parents talk you into something "sensible." The world needs artists as much as we do people to give us shots.

Follow your heart and get your degree in design. Really, just get a degree and let the rest fall into place. Starting our as a designer will be difficult, but you can always get a job selling furniture. That will allow you to make a living, meet many people who are seeking design advice, and open doors of opportunity for you. Plus, it will be in an environment that allows you to use your skills and talents. I know many people who are designers who primarily sell furniture and design on the side. They make good money selling furniture and enjoy designing for the customers they meet. Good luck!

Happily. I spent thirty-seven years of my life doing exactly what I thought I was supposed to do, and I was miserable. The last three have been fantastic--and it's just what you described, design. If you are artistic, you MUST follow that, because honey, if you are doing something you LIKE to do, your life will be wonderful, trust me. Do something you HAVE to do, and it will bea horrible. Be honest with yourself. Go get that ASID after your name and enjoy yourself!!!
