Some in Mexico do. They pronounce it "Hay -soos."

Um, yes. There are many people out there named Jesus. It's actually more common than you'd think in Hispanic areas. Pronounced Hay-soos. There are some people that legally change their name to Jesus Christ here in the US.

According to th US Census Jesus is the 129th most common male name in the USA. Right after Bradley and just before Herbert.

You got too be kidding? Never met a mexican have you? Every Mexican has a member with the name jesus in it. Why would a name be illegal?

i am not sure but i think the Spanish do this.
i don't think you should do that . you may teach your child of Christ but not name him after Christ.
maybe one of the apostles peter Paul john mark Mathew Luke Barnabas Judas or one of the later saints.
