Neutrogena makes an excellent gel that you put over a pimple as soon as it starts and it takes it down very quickly. You can get this at most drugstores.

I'll tell you my strategy..and it works good!
I was my face with Noxema really well. Wet a washcloth and put some noxema on it and gently scrub your face. Then i moisturize my face (i use oil of olay- forget the name?, but it says on the label: fights blemishes). When i was younger i never moistized b/c i thought my oily/acne prone skin didnt need it but thats totally not true. After that I use a treatment called PanOxyl. I got it from the pharmacy. It totally works and its inexpensive. I only use it at night but if you're just starting, i would suggest applying it 2X a day. If i keep using Panoxyl, i never break out anymore, only when i slack off.:)

i think a great acne treatment is pro active it works awesome sometime it will take a day or so.... to kick in but just give it a chance

Try either ProActiv or AcneFree (like ProActiv). They usually show results within a week.

tetracycleine. it is a broad spectrum antibiotic that will get rid of acne very quickly. you can get a prescription from your doctor and it is proven to work.

anything with benzoyl peroxide should do the trick. they usually come in 1%-10%, so its depending on your "situation".
