The founder of Taoism was likely a reclusive monk type and not ever married so i say no you are wrong. To be a true taoist you have to be unmarried otherwise your just picking and choosing to have an excuse for being a lazy slob.

It is perfectly acceptable to claim, you are doing by not doing...but do remember, the couch is a cold and lonely place. Then again, you are missing a perfect opportunity to perform meditation, doing and not thinking...While there is the nice meditation of sitting and meditating, there is also a nice glow achieved from meditating by doing. Find the Zen of housework...

Yeah. I tried that. My wife said that in that case, she was becoming a Satanist and was going to make my life a living hell!
