Try not to slobber? The tongue should be in your mouth or in his/her mouth, not on his/her face.

Brush your teeth and use mouthwash. Don't have too much alcohol before you do.

If he gets an erection, it means he is aroused, not that he wants/expects to have sex. It is very possible to get an erection and not want to have sex.
