I can say "I'm a Veteran" and the women will say "So What". If I say "I'm an Ex Con" they women say "Take Me". Why do women act that way?

(Assuming the woman is a feminist) Because as a veteran, you support the military. Therefore you are evil. An ex-con is obviously a victim of circumstance and society therefore must be helped and understood.

I haven't really seen a good answer yet to this question. Maybe I'm totally off, but it sounds like these women want someone to take care of or save. As a veteran, it scares them off, because you are already able to take care of yourself. As an ex con, they figure you will be more likely to stay around. I'm taking this point of view based on others who have asked that question, as there are still women out there who love the "bad boys"

We support ALL Veterans, males and females. But to answer your question:
Because this message board is about Women Military Veterans; Reserves; National Guard; and Active Duty.
It is about Women who have proudly served , and still are serving in the US Military. Many of us are Women Veterans connecting to network with other Women Veterans for many different reasons.
We do not forget about our Male Veterans, but give them the Honor they are due for their sacrifices.
However, Women Veterans tend to have different social needs than men do. It is a whole different ballpark.
For years, the Men have had their Male Veterans clubs, and the Women Veterans have been ignored or mistreated; or told to join the auxillary....an insult to Women Veterans!! Therefore, it is time that we have our own support group. This message board is only a drop in the bucket!

Dude, I served in the Marines and did a tour in Iraq. By going up to a girl and say "I'm a Veteran", you only show how boot you are. Get over yourself, having served in the military doesn't give you some high and mighty place to look down from. Your a person just like everyone else. You honestly expect women to throw themselfs on you because your a Veteran, you signed up for the wrong reasons kiddo, likely never saw combat, and probably could even qual Marksman with an M-16

Maybe the women you are talking to aren't for you. Sounds like you are spending way too much time at a beer bar! Quality women are hard to find & so are quality men, so most people just take what they can get or go it alone! Some women can spot a liar & if you aren't an ex-con, they're willing to abuse you for an evening or two! I bet they don't come back for seconds after a night with a vet who said he was a dog & turned out to just be a hog. That's my take on guys like you.
