Other than the fact that Baptists believe in immersion, and Methodists don't?

I'm a Independent, Fundamental Baptist and I think the main difference in our doctrines is that we don't believe in infant baptism and that they sprinkle instead of immersion for baptism. Also, we believe once saved always saved, I think they think you can loose your salvation. I would say do an on line search to compare the two if your interested in both churches but don't know all the facts or attend a service at each and talk with the pastor.

I am a Southern First Baptist, buy my Aunt was a Methodist. I'm not sure there was a whole lot of difference between our churches, except the Methodist believe in "sprinkling" instead of dunking baptism, and they believe this can be done with babies, but Baptist think you must be at [or near] age of 12 or so. I was baptized at age of 10 1/2 because I knew what I was doing in getting "saved", as they say.

Baptists believe "once in grace,always in grace" and I think the Methodist take baptism alone as the salvation experience, where Baptists believe that the act of getting saved and the act of being baptized are separate acts. Both necessary (to enter Heaven)
