I would gladly give up my life for my country and expect the same of you.
Reasons -- those are self evident boy. You have no idea how lucky you are to be an American.
Go live in Cuba or China for a month and when you come back to the USA you will kiss the ground.

I think the U.S. is a great place to live, an ideal place to raise a family. Where people are allowed to believe in what they want, and you stand a good chance at providing a good life for your family. I spent some time in Iraq when I was in the Marines, I've seen first hand how bad it can get, and I know it can get even worse, many people do not know how lucky we are to live here in the United States.
I'm not saying we are perfect, we are far from it. Our government leaves some to be desired, and not everyone in the country agrees on everything. But we do our best, we hold elections, and while there may be some room for improvement, having the right to elect a president every 4 years is a freedom that many other countries would die for, and may never have a taste of.
We need work, we are still young, but the ideals and morals that this country was founded on will hopefully someday lead us to a country that has more balance in the system. Nothing is perfect, but this country sure as heck is a great place to live. We call it the land of Opportunity, and it is, a person can live a happy life here for the most part.
The U.S. isn't;t perfect, but its MY country, and by God, I'll lay my life on the line any day so that the citizens of this country can live longer not having to know what hell life can be, that is my opinion of my country.

Ummm lets see, I live here and it is the only country in the world where you can express yourself freely. Just look at us our is so unique. It consists of diverse, diverse, diverse people. Thats what makes America today. Its not just one people, its a whole bunch of people living under the same roof. We may have the best military in the world and we may be a bit arrogant at times but we are truely the best country in the world. I mean who would've thought a whole bunch of rag-tag colonists fighting for independence against the British would make our country so great hundreds of years later.

the United States is the best country in the world. and if all the stupid peace loving hippies would leave it would be even better. its awesome because we get to do what we want as long as it is not against the law. and we have so many more opportunities than anyone else. it's just a really neat place.

I love the U.S.! I get to go there in 2 weeks, and I am very excited. I guess it's just, you seem so wild and crazy and free. I mean, it's not that we don't have a LOT of freedom in the U.K., but people in the U.S. seem to have more fun. I don't know if that's true or not, that's my view of it though.

Mostly decent people but your foreign policy sucks. I say MOSTLY decent because I see a lot here that have a simple minded belief that anything they are told by authority or read in the papers is true.
Having been there a couple of times, I have found some places pleasant but I wouldn't want to live there

It's the only place I have lived, so I have to like it.
In my opinion, I think the U.S., has many scenic and beautiful places. I have visited most of the U.S. states, and would love to tour the country again.
Are you asking about politics, people, etc...?

The greatest nation in the world, used to be, anyway, until George W. Bush became its president. Now the U.S. is weaker militarily and weaker as leading nation of the world. The country has gone more corrupt with the leadership of the Republican party, corruption that is paying off in billions of dollars to Bush and his cronies.

It's great, if we don't get a Democrat President.
If we do, with a Democrat Congress, we will become Little Democrat Commie Goose Steppers.
(But, I bet you wish you could move here.)
