not like bowel gas but when they use CO2 to blow up the abdomen they don't always get out all the gas and the gas that is left is painful to get rid of...what would help?

Ask the surgeon who operated on u!!!He is the only one who can help u..... very simple...

It sounds like you had a laparoscopic surgery. The reason that you have the gas pain is because the dr didn't get all of the CO2 out. (and yes a dr can get it all out by pushing on the tummy)

Walking a little bit every day will help release some of that gas. Even with walking a little bit continue to rest every day as your body is recovering from a big surgery although the incisions are small (classifying it as minimally invasive). Also, continue to eat lightly for the next several weeks as your stomach will be sensitive. This too may help to ease some of the gas coming out.

Take Beano before, they'll Beano gas

Use Gas-ex or beano, Malox Max also may help

been there it will resolve within a few days and beano won;t work

try pepper mint tea, or peppermint ordial with warm water

i had that after my appendix it will go away after a day or two
