Because we are commanded by God not to shave our beards. Had Jesus shaved His beard, He would have been in transgressionj of Gods' law- and thus guilty of sin. A beard is one of the things that physically differentiates men from women. If we are not to wear another genders clothes...how much the more should we not disfigure our bodies to appear like them?

I don't really know for sure if he shaved it or not. If he took the Nazarite vow, he wouldn't have shaved.
