Is anyone arrogant enough that they THINK they can kill Christianity ? "Obviously" YOU do!
Great quotes from the Old testament "setting us up for the Messiah, Jesus Christ, but you wasted your time.
Of course that was the law, don't you know we were born dead to begin with and cannot keep God's word ? Didn't you even read the entire old testement and the "why" of it all ?
What's your agenda ? If you don't like "apples" then stay away from "apples" why seek out an apple tree and shake your fist at it ?
"get a hobby"
AAAnyway, this is because of the fall, man thinking he knows better and can be God.
Now Jesus (God in the flesh) paid for what we can't accomplish, he paid the ticket for our sins we committed, are commiting now, and the ones we "will" commit.
He paid the price, we are "home free" IF we accept Him.
No force involved, just a choice.
By the way "I'm happy as hell" that you are not God." :)
Youre grace just doesn't seem to abound, of course, your ego does ! :)
I suppose your just another self righteous "little god" that thinks he "can" adhere to the law ? "No way Jose" not Billy Graham the Pope or anyone else can adhere to the law.
We are saved because our sins were cast on Christ, our substitute, it will take a bit more than you to kill Christianity, or are you better than those "great" men and civilizations who have tried ?"
How long on the planet "o wise one" ?
I bet you'd be embarrassed if you were under "about" 10, 000.00 years old.
Boy your'e one "powerful" little package "aren't" you ?
Sounds like you may be guilty of arrogance yourself ! :)
all "in love" .... "big shot" ! Now go eat a bowl of ceral and "try" not to spill.

If you think all that will deter a Christian ..think again...they can make up something to make all that seem feasible. They believe in a book that was written a long time ago and they can read the content and turn it around to please themselves. Look how the Catholic Church has changed so much. Was this for the better or to make more money by luring in more people (not working). Sorry but that's how I see it.

But don't forget that raping an unmarried maiden only costs $50. There is at least one sin in the Bible that isn't worthy of death.
But you're automatically married to her and you can never divorce her.
Deuteronomy 22:28-29 If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, he shall pay the girl’s father fifty shekels of silver. He must marry the girl, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives.

In Response to: No because the Lord isn't talking about physical death, but spiritual death. Separation from Him and His Son, a place I never want to be. You didn't destroy Christianity, you failed to interpret it!
Honey sorry to tell you but it was interpreted correctly, Christians in this modern world twist the bible to suit todays society as it is a document that no longer applies in todays world. The bible was written by primitive man and in their society it's word was law . "Burned to death", "Stoned to death" that is not spiritual death that is physical death.

Aside from some of these passages being taken out of context, what is your point? We christians aren't advocating killing homosexuals in any way, nor prostitutes, nor people who disrespect their father. We have grown wiser and more civilized.

As you can see, all those laws were from the Hebrew Scriptures. They were in the Mosaic Law to the Jews. When Jesus came to earth, he got rid of the Mosaic Law, he completed it, and sins, from then on, were to be forgiven through him. Period. Well....it's more elaborate than that, but...you get the picture. :)
