I just recently had a boy-girl party for my son who's in the same age group. Since American Idol is so popular right now we decided to make that the theme of our party. We had a karaoke game where everyone got the chance to perform. It was a big hit. We also had a nice assortment of snack-type foods and we cleared a big space in the middle of the family room for dancing. Some kids brought their favorite CD's. Much good luck with your party.

hey a pool party is great just no silly games or anything just let your friends hang out and have fun. i may be 17 but i have a younger sister that is your age and that is what she did for her birthday party and alll the kids in her class were talking about it and how much cooler it was than the other parties.

lasertag is awesome but kinda expensive (in my opinon), movies are kind of boring, sleepovers would work if it was just girls(which, by the way, isn't 11 a little 2 young 2 go co-ed?)bowling is good, just a collage of stuff (go 2 a movie then to a park then out to pizza then home for cake/presents and maybe board games /twister) that's all i can think of for general places. look around 4 unique stuff in ur area

It's hard to come up with a theme if there are both boys and girls. I would suggest asking your daughter what she is into.

Cooking parties are always fun. You could buy aprons at the dollar store and let the kids decorate them, then you could have them help mix cupcakes and play party games while they bake. Then they could decorate them, etc.

My daughter like the lou-ou...sorry spelling isn't good with that word..lol. They had a pool and sprinkler, and they got to wear their little hula skirts. They also had a punch bowl and drinks with the little stirrer straws. They all enjoyed it, even the boys.
