You can have it totally removed. There are different methods to do that now. If that is what you are meaning, go to a good dermatologist.
If you mean, can it be made into something else, yes, go to a good artist and show him/her what you have and ask for suggestions. They always have good books that you can look thru for suggestions.
There is also a way of getting rid of it that takes 5 years, but it is the only way that leaves no scars. I'm not that familiar with the new process, but a dermatologist can tell you about it. It's a sort of fading process, and it supposedly works extremly well, but slowly. The regular way will leave a bit of a scar.

Hey Pink Rose....Your tattoo can be covered up. What you need to realize is that the cover up tattoo will be larger that the tattoo under it....at the very least twice as large (four times larger is better) Also know that as a general rule a cover up is Darker than the original. See this link for a look at my cover up. http://www.ratemyink.com/?action=ssp&pid=29470 This is a link to a website with over 400 different cover ups shown. http://www.tattooartists.org/Gct22_Cover_Up_Tattoos.asp
good luck with your cover up

Of course you can cover it up! But you may not want to, cuz the covering tatoo will need to be twice as big at the least, and it will be mor painful cuz the skin was already disturbed 1. Good luck with that!! And i hope that the tatoo isn't on a place like ur hip.

It can be covered but will be larger than the original tattoo. Look around and find a tattoo artist that is REALLY good at covers. Most cover ups i've seen end up looking amazing.

It can be covered, but you can't just pick any design you like and plonk it over the top of the old one; the new tattoo would need to be larger than the existing one, and would need to incorporate a dark area to conceal the old tattoo. Tattoo inks show through what's underneath them, so you can put darker colours over the top of lighter ones, but not vice versa. Go to an artist who specialises in this type of work, and talk through your options.
Hope this helps!

Darker colors are harder to impossible to cover up; you pretty much need to put something darker still over it. I'd say "yes", but with the caveat that it depends on what you want to cover it up with.
Most artists are pretty good at figuring out a way to do just that. I'd say find an artist who's work you like & have a good chat with them. If you know even roughly what you'd like over it, I suspect that s/he could pretty easily run with it.

Yep it can be covered. you just have to find the right tattoo artist tto do it. And it has to be a little larger than the last tattoo. I had one similar to the one you are talking about covered up up with a fairy sitting on a mushroom.

Yes, although it will almost certainly need to be covered with black. Go speak to an artist to get some ideas. And take your time and pick out something you will actually want to keep this time.

it absolutely can be covered up. the coverup tattoo will have to be larger than the original and i definitely advise you to check out the portfolios of coverup tattoos before you chose an artist. not all artists can do coverup tattoos. very few can do a good one. there is no reason to cover it up if it's just going to be covered with a crappy tattoo.
good luck!!

first off yes it can be covered secondly what you really want is to get it lightened by laser first then it would be easier to work with get a nice sized piece over it with a spot on the piece where it can be hidden and your good to go.
