I'll never Google again. This is definitely the best question ever asked. Can't be topped!!! But I will have you know. They did do away with Super size because fat people sued them. So now skinny people can't get Super size either. That's like cutting off the whole bar because one guy got drunk. And yes, fat people do cause problems for others. How come the biggest girls drive the smallest cars?! Some can't even turn the steering wheel when their bellies hit it.

That is a very logical question, well asked.
The answer is a bit banal I fear. When the laws banning serving drunks were passed it was a genuine attempt to improve the lot of the nation. MacDonalds didn't exist in This Sceptered Isle so there was no connection between take-aways and obesity.
If the law was to be revised properly then MacDonalds would be obliged to stop serving obese people.

Very good question. I am not even fat but the other day I ate ten double cheeseburgers in one sitting, got into my car and mowed down 12 people at a bus stop (I was steering with my knees - I had a strawb milkshake in each hand). I have written to MacDonald's and they are point blank refusing to accept any responsibilty. I ask you, what is the world coming to? The streets are not safe with this filth being peddled by greedy corporate america

i be attentive to it is not a severe question, yet i will answer it. Pubs won't serve you once you''re too under the effect of alcohol because of the fact in case you get lifted by the police for being under the effect of alcohol and disorderly (or for any reason in terms of you being too under the effect of alcohol) it may come lower back to them. this might influence their licence and could make a contribution to them loosing their licence in the worst case difficulty. it is an attempt by the licencing board to shrink the quantity of folk in the streets who're far too intoxicated. in spite of the actuality that I doubt it ameliorations plenty. the place as being fats does not fairly infringe on the rights of every physique else like a under the effect of alcohol guy or woman inflicting trouble does.

I am a bartender and I know exactly why they cut you off. We are the ones who are responsible if you get in your car and kill someone, or yourself. We gave you those drinks. Bartenders really have to cover their asses when it comes to drinking now.. It is also illeagal to be drunk in public. But the #1 reason that bartender cuts you off is because you being drunk is dangerous for everyone, including the bartender. They give fat people at mc donalds food cause they know they will make for money with the guy who can eat a whole lot of food than with the little skinny girl that is standing behind him.. You know what I mean?

Change pubs. Any pub that stops someone still able to sit on a stool from drinking is not a true pub. It's more like a McBeer hang out. As far as Mickey D's cash is the ticket.

Thats just plain funny! To all those people who have slagged the guy off, behave and get a sense of humour. It's illegal to be drunk in public, full stop. I am guessing those who called him an idiot are actually quite fat. He was obviously just being funny!

It's the law, typically, bartenders aren't allowed to serve intoxicated customers. They face fines and penaltys and could lose their liquor license if something bad happened and it was determined that they sold alcohol to an intoxicated person. Some states still have laws that impose criminal penalties on those who violate this line of laws known as "dramshop laws". Those who consume too much alcohol in one night can die of alcohol poisoning, even without history of prior alcohol consumption. A person is not going to die from eating too many cheeseburgers in one night, though it's certainly possible that one Big Mac could push a person with history of heart disease and obesity over to that final kick-the-bucket coronary. Obese people aren't as a class a danger to others, many intoxicated people can be, expecially when they are a rowdy drunk or choose to get in a car in drive. Alcohol temporarily impairs one's judgment, eating an order of McNuggets does not. Neither one are healthy choices, and probably both should be government-regulated. But hey, there is a happy compromise--McDonald's doesn't turn away drunk people either---trust me, I went on a 1 AM iced tea run last night, quite amusing.

Give it time, mate, give it time. I'm sure that Nanny State will get around it to soon. They've outlawed smoking, next it'll be illegal to drink alcohol anywhere other than in your own home, and only then as long as you don't work from home, then they'll get the diet snoopers lined up and it'll be illegal to serve anybody with more than the RDA of anything. We'll probably have to carry a card and get it stamped every time we're sold any food anywhere - lord help you if you burn the spuds!
