hi, two days ago my stomach hurt like hell. then i threw up and my stomach felt better but i had a high fever at night. next day i felt fine but my stomach was a bit weird and i didnt have a big appetite. and then today it seems like my stomach isnt digesting the food that i ate earlier..like 4 hours ago.
I tried to do some jogging, and i started to get stomach cramps which indicates that i have food in my stomach...and i know that the last i ate was like 4 hours ago..
i eat healthy food, never McD's or anything like that. and im not on a diet, and im in good shape.

what can i do to clean my stomach... what should i eat, drink?

maybe you have been having a simple food intoxication. these happens usually when food is not keep at the right temperature. for example, if you leave mayonnaise too long at room temperature, or at the sun, the bacterias inside (staphylococcus aureus) produces a toxin. if you ingest it, it will cause these symptoms. go see a physician immediately so that you can have some pills to remove those toxins.

drink a lot of water to keep hydrated and rest.

Hi, I'm sorry you're experiencing this! I had a similar issue with slightly different symptoms. Found this out because I had an upper endoscopy (where they stick a tube in to see what's happening inside your stomach and esophagus), and even though I had stopped eating by midnight the night before as instructed, I threw up!

So -- my doctor told me this was slow movement of food in my stomach, which can be related to hypothyroidism (too little thryoid hormone in body). You should proactively ask your doctor to check for this, b/c doctor expertise varies and not everyone is thorough (plus not cost-efficient)!

Diet advice -- *fiber such as oats, figs, etc. is very good (but don't overdo that either because it can lead to stomach cramping/ diarrhea); *reducing glutens can help; *cranberry, apple, carrot juices are good to drink (orange and lemonade may be too acidic).

Resources -- I love this book I once read called "Eat to Live" by Dr. Fuhrmann if you want to check that out for extra health-food connection reading...

It's possible that it could be just a virus that was running a short course.

As to what to eat right now stick to soft foods and clear liquids and then pls get in to see your dr about this to try and help you figure out what is causing this.

You can also try making a tea out of fresh ginger which you can find in a natural health food store if it's not in your local super market. Some flea markets also have produce for sale, yep including ginger. Ginger is very good at helping to ease upset of the digestive system and may help with some of this til you see your dr.

It's not. We just perceive it to be. Blue, Chicken Soup, Diamond...all are high grain foods. They just have good commercials and an Internet cult following to make them popular. Since they are popular, they take more extreme cautions. Taste of the Wild, Canidae, Solid Gold, Wellness, and Natural Balance never tested positive for any salmonella. They were simply made in the same factory as a few bags of Diamond that were. Their recall was voluntary and precautionary. I would rather have that than feed Purina, who will only recall food that is actually contaminated. It's too expensive for Iams/Purina/Pedigree to take unnecessary precautions. Avoid the whole issue and only feed brands that actually own the factories their food is made in and disclose openly where they buy raw ingredients. Or work with a holistic vet to make your own food.

I am so sorry you are experiencing this! I had the same problem a year ago! I went to my doctor and was sent to a gastroenterologist. The doctor did an upper and lower test to see what was happening. It ended up with my having one stomach ulcer, a hiatal hernia, three polyps and a conglomerate of blood vessels which can cause extensive bleeding and even, death! So, please know that I am serious when I tell you to please see your doctor as you just never know what is the root cause of something. I had NO clue that all these things were wrong with me but, my bathroom habits, cramping and discomfort sure were signaling a problem!! Listen to your body and go see your doctor!!

You should try to rest, because it sounds like you might have the flu and your pushing yourself like nothings wrong which is making you sick. Food doesn't digest right away either so you whould wait for twenty-four hours unless your having severe pain. If your having pain in your stomach you need to go to a doctor, because that is really serious. Something could be wrong in your digestive tract and that can kill you.

You probably have a stomach virus or just an upset stomach. You should eat bland foods for the next couple of days. We call it the BRAT diet. Bananas, rice, apple sauce and toast.
