One night a man had a dream. He dreamed
he was walking along the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene he noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand: one belonging
to him, and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of
his life there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very
lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he
questioned the LORD about it:
"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow
you, you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when
I needed you most you would leave me."
The LORD replied:
"My son, my precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you."
Hope that helps and I hope you feel better soon! :o)

Sags are the life of the party find some place to go where you can get involved with alot of people. Sags also get involved in alot of projects so set a goal even if it is to do a paint by number just do something to accomplish something. If this is a hormonal think find some sugar free chocalate & enjoy it. This raised saratonin (spelled wrong) which will lift you up. Everyone feels better when they make someone smile. Get out talk to a lonely stranger or help give someone els a lift. Know this is termporary. Try to remember a time when you felt happy that alone might help. Who is your favorite comedian look them up on youtube or get a funny movie maybe one with Steve Carrel from the office they are always funny. Don't depend on others to give you a smile, etc. The truth is that others can give you everything they have but it is you would decides to be happy or not. Smile & the rest will follow. Make a graditude journal write down everything good you have & appreciate & if you don't appreciate something find the gift in it & write that down. Maybe you had to go through this so you could learn all of this because you will soon be sharing it with others who need a lift.

Hi, when I feel down, I tend to read the Psalms. An excellent passage is Psalm 6:2-10 which I've put below (from KJV).
Psalm 6:2-6 Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed.
3: My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O LORD, how long?
4: Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies' sake.
5: For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?
6: I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.
7: Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies.
8: Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping.
9: The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.
10: Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.
Also, another thing that has helped is considering the 10 lepers that Jesus healed. When he'd healed them, how many came back to show appreciation for what he did? Only one did. So it's just a good reminder that 9 out of 10 people have a tendency towards complete thoughtlessness. Its not that they weren't grateful, more they were probably so caught up in being healed, that they just didn't think. We're living in a world where everyone is busy, maybe you've been let down, just because of people being thoughtless, not because they wanted to treat you badly.

1st Peter 5:7 is a verse I like to stand on. It says... "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."
Psalm 145:14 "The Lord upholds all those who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down."
1st Samuel "The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart."
Jeremiah 33:3 "Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know, says the Lord".

I was there yesterday. I tried so hard to cheer up myself but it seemed impossible, however, I know that I couldn't go on like that, so I began to pray in the spirit, whatever scripture came to my mind I quote it. Whatever hymn came to my mind I sang it, until I can feel that weight loosing. I know that that wasn't of God so I had to get rid of it. It left. Praise the Lord.

For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee” (Isa. 41:13).
The lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in who I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower” (Psalm 18:2).
3Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 5For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. 6If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. 7And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort.
(2 Corinthians 1)
Matthew 26 Jesus was betrayed. He knows exactly how you feel.
Try the Psalms most are when David is crying out. When he feels alone, surrounded by enemies. They offer reassurance of God's presence.

Try fake smiling.
Your subconscious doesn't know what is 'real' and what you make up. It thinks you are 'happy' when you smile, whether real or not, and triggers the chemistry that makes you feel good inside. It's like a habit to it actually.
