Use a shampoo with a very strong scent; i use green apple. I find if i put my hair up in a messy bun of sorts and let it dry that way, my hair always smells good like my shampoo hours later when i take it down.

I have never had the problem of the smell leaving my hair so I will tell you what I do. :-) I wash it every day with pantene or herbal essences. I love the smell of them and it is strong enough to stick around. I like salon shampoo too but the smells are not as strong.

well you could use all the same brand of shampoo, conditioner, & styling products so you'll have the smell layered in your hair. pantene, dove, aussie, those all smell pretty good. also, the scent might be there but you might just not notice it, kinda like when you have perfume on, after a little while you get used to it & dont notice it even tho other ppl can smell it.

Use the same brand from shampoo, conditioner, hair styling products.. and hair spray.. they all smell the same and you will have the smell you want...
Do not leave the shampoo in your hair.. that creates build up...

Regular shampooing should do the trick, especially with a higher end shampoo. Better shampoos tend to have a more distinct, lasting fragrance.
To hang onto the scent, don't drive with the car windows down, and don't hang around people who smoke.

Wet your hair, shampoo your hair but don't rinse, wash the rest of your body, and then come back and rinse your hair at the end. That also works great if you use a conditioner.

When you wash your hair with shampoo leave the shampoo in for about 2-3 min. than wash it out, than put conditioner in and leave that in for about 5 min. always works for me ;)

I even have the comparable challenge some shampoo's & conditoners are greater efficient than others and final longer. i could attempt leaving it in longer and actually scrubbing it on your hair. attempt employing hair products too once you wash it. some anti-frizz stuff scent fairly good
