i switched schools recently (11th gr) and this guy had seen me around school (also 11th) and finally came up and talked to me; i immediately took to him, he was way cool. then he hung out with me at lunch the next day and when he could've gone home for 6th period, i had to stay cuz i TA, so he stayed and kept me company and we hung outside the class. the same thing happened the next day, but when we were hxc flirting, he unexpectedly kissed me; thenn i knew i fell for him hardd and fastt. he seemed like he was interested and then spring break happened and he was impossible to get ahold of, i was calling him trying to hang out (i know, dumb idea) andd i thought it was all over, but then he left a note outside my front door on the eve of his birthday that just said "today's my birthday (etc etc) and ended with night kairi! xoxo ---" and i was like okay maybe he does like me. but i feel like he is just responding to me, like he isn't pursuing me. & i need help on how to turn this around!!

He just got to know you thus is not sure how you'll feel about him. Give him some personal space. However, since he's a shy person, perhaps you could initiate the outing instead. Ask him out and when you've got opportunity, let him know how you want him to invite you out sometimes.

some boys/men like the chase but when it becomes too easy to achieve they lose interest. so nxt time u see him don't drool over him just act pretty cool as if u have other things to take care of other than him...he probably will become more inquisitive and if he is really interested in u..will pursue you...hopefully!

I am not really sure about this because I am still on spring break and I try not to think. I have to say though that you have a pretty name, that name alone draws people to you and I don't even know what you look like. However you know what I say, he likes you. He will try to persue you now that he likes you. he wants to take it slower because he values your respect and he doesn't want to push you away. I say, give him time. if he's interested he'll come back but like the other person said...don't go chasing after him...he might thing ur desparate and take advantage of that....
